Text:   I am currently researching Robert Devlin Smyth line. I have information I am willing to share. Robert Smyth line is researched back to 1200 on lds.org. Which I submitted in 1990. But I am currently researching and writing a family history.I have a copy of his marriage certicate to Mary Jane Mackey. I can not find his first wife Sarah Robinson infro. I have information on his military discharge paper. I am trying to find correct infro on his children that died in India. Lds.org has several death location for first child which died in India while in military service. After he was released from military service he travels to America onthe ship Marshfield with Mary Jane and 2 children. He crosses the plains to the Utah Territory.

I am trying to find the individual that might have inherited Viola Bidgoods copy of Robert Devlin Smyth family history in his own handwriting and his family bible. I believe she is the individual who died at 102 in 2002. She is related to Robert through Nora Smyth.

I am trying to find the individual who inherited Robert Devlin Smyth military watch after Lawrence Evans died in 1971. He also has his military discharge papers the orginal. I would like photographs of them. There are interesting facts on these paper I will share with you.

Mary Jane Mackey life story is like a novel. It was one of my favorite story as a child I liked. She travels to India and China with her father Edward Mackey while in English military service. Her mother dies in India with her siblings. Her father is discharged and traveling home to England dies at sea. She is raised by her aunt and uncle in the Castle Cormin who are caretakers. She marrys Robert and goes back to India with him. Her child dies there.
Robert and her come to America on Ship Marshfield. Crossing the plain her one year old Joseph dies in an accident. There lives are interesting.

I have details on many events but I am looking for more before I write. I am willing to share. Please share anything you have with me.
