She married Henry A. Schenk on September. 20, 1936. He preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Gail (John) Zitting o and Karen (Larry) Story, a sister, Afton Johnson and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, seven brothers and five sisters. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was active in the Relief Society, served as the ward librarian and as a visiting teacher. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and working outdoors.
