Page:   Email dated 2017-07-04 from Boyd Grey regarding the Taylor Family of Glenn

Text:   This is your Taylors on Plots 2 and 6 in the townland of Glen, which, although it is in the Parish of Aghabog, not Currin, is the townland immediately north of Drumborisk, where my Mackeys originated and which is the core townland for the Mackeys of Monaghan, including lots of Edwards. There is still a large farm on Plot 6. I wonder who owns it now.

Remember, there is NO townland called Currin. When people said they were from Currin, they meant the Parish of Currin, whereas when Anne Taylor said she was from Glen, she meant the townland of Glen.

And I cannot remember if I sent you this. According to the National Archives, there are three Taylors in Glenn in the 1833 TABs: William, Francis & John. RootsIreland has the date at 1832:

Edward Mackey and Ann Taylor may have called their (?first son), Francis for this Francis.
