I should have added, on the Victoria Public Record Office, there is an Index to Outgoing Passengers from Victorian ports.

JJM All Saints School Parramatta
The Cats Mum to me
---------
Have just received 4 photocopied pages on the history of the All Saints School. JJM rates one mention.
(The first schoolmaster, an Irishman educated at Trinity College Dublin, served the school for 28 years and died 1 January 1867 at age 70.)
A letter written in 1946 by a former student notes: "This old school building, which has since been demolished had, up to the year 1882, been a denominational school kept by the late Mr J J Miller who, with his family, lived in the adjoining cottage."
I'm guessing that the controversial intervention of the state govt into parochial school teachers remuneration benefits may have been a factor in JJM deciding to pursue a business career. There are no records on when JJM became headmaster, however as Edgar was born in Liverpool in 1869, there was probably a 2nd schoolmaster prior to him.
==========
The online records, & Rookwood office confirmed JJM & Annie 569, Harald & Ethel 570 & Norman & Vivien 571. I knew is was 3 x double plots with a monument for JJM & Annie. No monuments for the others (on the files) so your photos were quite a surprise in that sense, that memorials for the other 4 people had been incorporated into the monument.
