Using a search "Townsend + Clifton Upon Dunsmore" - www.dustydocs.com.au appeared with a listing of LDS Database entries showing Thomas Townsend, wife Frances and children Mary, Frances, Thomas & John. I believe that these two families are the same and are father & son.

Francis Wison was the second husband of Jane, who was a well known character at Hawick.

Little is known of Francis Wilson, other than that he was referred to on Jane's Death Certificate by the informant, his son-in-law, Thomas Haig, as a Shoemaker Master.
