52. Olive Janet5 Lambert (182) (Nina4 Comber, Edward3, Edward2, Thomas1) was born on 20 Mar 1906 at Narromine, NSW, Australia. She married Velda (Casey) Arthur Wright (28) on 14 Apr 1925 at St Stephens Anglican Church, Peak Hill, NSW, Australia, with Jack Parker (2549) Groomsman, Florie Parker (2550) Bridesmaid;
The Peak Hill Times reported " A very pretty wedding took place at St Stephen's Church , Peak Hill on 14th April , the Rev E S Robinson officiating when Velda Arthur , sixth son of Mrs Wright of Trewilga , was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with Olive , second daughter of Mr and Mrs Lambert of St Mary's and grand daughter of Mr & Mrs E Coomber of Peak Hill. The bride who was given away by her grandfather , wore a pretty dress of white crepe de chene with knife pleated panels . She also wore a wreath and veill (kindly lent by her sister) and carried a bouquet of white corrse and tulle bow. Miss Florie Parker attended as bridesmaid and was attired in mauve morocain with pleated geoget panels . She wore a black hat with a feather mount and carried a bouquet of pink and mauve cosmos.Mr Jack Parker acted as best man . The bridegroom a gift to the bride a beautifull silver tea and coffee service add to the bridesmaid a one diamond knife brooch. The reception was held in the Masonic Hall . After the wedding breakfast Mr & Mrs Wright left by motor en route to Sydney., the bride travelling in a blue floral georette dress with a cinanmon hat trimmed with blue. The newly married couple received many beautiful presents including cheques (NSW marriage search : cert 9300/1925).
