Check that Birth Cert is actually Beryl's relative - some question that there were two Christopher Nolans and the Christopher/Mary 1840 one is not the correct one.
Beryl's research turned up a Thomas Edward Nolan but I am convinced TE Nolan is NOT Beryl's ancestor. 2009-05-08

Re: [PJ] Convict - Christopher Nowlan (Nowland/Nolan) - TransportedPHOENIX III 1826
Hi, Megan,
I've looked up my records regarding Mary Edwards. She came free on Mary of Bristol in 1839, at which time she was twelve years old (sometimes the ages are not correct). I'm not sure if she married Christopher Noland/Nolan/Nowland but she did live in the area. Her father, Matthew Edwards, was a convict and her sister Ellen married a convict (William Henry Worrad) also in 1842. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
