After eighteen years with the Baptists, Morgan David converted to Mormonism. The letter he wrote to Dan Jones about his conversion can be found in "Prophet of the Jubilee", the translation of "Prophwyd y Jubili", the first Welsh Mormon periodical, Volume III (1848), p. 98-99.

Eleanor died in 1251 and was buried at Llanthony Secunda Priory, Gloucester.
Father: William de Braose, Lord of Abergavenny
Mother: Eva Marshal
Eleanor was married to Humphrey de Bohun
Humphrey held Hay castle and Huntington castle and borough through the inheritance of Eleanor. He was a commander at Lewes and Evesham, where he was captured. He died on 27 August 1265 at Beeston Castle of wounds sustained at the battle of Evesham and was buried in Combermere, Cheshire.
Child 1: Humphrey de Bohun, Earl of Hereford & Essex, born about 1249.
Child 2: Maud aka Margery
m (1) Robert de W.
m (2) Theobald de Verdun
Evidence has recently (2002) been published that the wife of Theobald de Verdun was this daughter of Eleanor de Braose and Humphrey de Bohun. (See the thread "A New Bohun Daughter Discovered" on newsgroup soc.genealogy.medieval.) Margery was dead by Michaelmas 1303. (See Doug Richardson's evidence given on soc.genealogy.medieval 17 September 2004 and Chris Phillips' "Additions to the Complete Peerage")
Child 3: Eleanor
On 26th June 1269 Eleanor became the second wife of Robert de Ferrers, Earl of Derby. Robert died in 1279 and Eleanor's dower was ordered to be assigned 27th April 1279. Eleanor died on 20th February 1313/4 and was buried in Walden Abbey.
(Complete Peerage Vol IV p202)
Child 4: Gilbert
Seneschal of the liberty of Kilkenny, 1298
His lands were confiscated for outlawry but restored in May 1300
Constable of the castle of Kilkenny, 1305
The first three children of the marriage are recorded on the History of the Lords of Brecon, (13th cent.) [Cotton Julius D x]
In view of Eleanor's early death in relation to the birth of her son Humphrey, it seems most likely that Gilbert is by Humphrey's second wife, Joan de Quency.
