Richard agreed to "commend" himself to Hugh, Count of Paris. He allied himself with the Norman and Viking leaders.

Richard drove Louis out of Rouen and took back Normandy by 947. The rest of his reign was mainly peaceful, apart from conflict with Theobald I, Count of Blois marked by restoration of Church lands and monasteries.

There is no mention of Henry Miller Dixon in the will.
There is no mention of Harriet Mary Townsend Dixon in the will.
There is no mention of any marriage of Emanuel Miller.

My supposition is that they lived a de facto relationship, and that Emanuel and his 5 children emigrated to Australia. Harriet Mary Townsend Dixon returned to Coventry, and her mother's house, where she continued to live until her death in 1873.
