----------------------
It is highly unlikely that Sarah, or any of the Mackay children, were born in Ferozepore. Ferozepore is over 4000mi (6000km) from Madras/Chennai.
It is fairly clear that the 63rd Regiment had nothing to do with Ferozepore (there was no mention of Ferozepore in the British Army Muster Books for the 63rd Regiment of Foot), which would have probably been taken care of by the 62nd Regiment or the 17th Regiment ( ), or at least regiments located on the Western side of India.

2014-05-04 - found newspaper article for Elizabeth Comber Hardy referring to her staying with her aunt "whose husband, Dr Walker. was Government Medical Officer" at Turon diggings.
Found other newspaper references to Bertha Sarah [unknown] who married Westby Walker.
Supposition that if Elizabeth Mackie Comber had son George Westby Walker Comber, then there is a relationship... it is possible that Sarah Mackie is indeed Bertha Sarah Walker.

"....If i was to do a similar exercise again, my starting point would be the people who actually employed the orphans. Since the 1980s, we have been able to identify many more of the orphans' employers. See the website http://www.irishfaminememorial.org/en/orphans/....."
that is - search for Sarah Emilia and Edward Coomber/Comber, etc...
