RESOURCE: Genealogical Memoirs of John Knox and of the Family of Knox, by Rev. Charles Rogers. Garnier & Compay, Charleston, SC. 1879, reprinted 1969. (I've heard rumors on this forum of a more-recent reprint.)
I have put together a "quickie" 163-person GEDCOM based on the book, and I can email to anyone interested. If/When I get around to it, I'll post a "quickie" descendants' report on this GenForum.

JOHN KNOX THE REFORMER:
Born 1505 in a suburb of Haddington, younger brother of William Knox, both sons of William Knox and unknown Sinclair.
Betrothed to Marjory Bowes (born ca.1533), 1553.
Married to Marjory Bowes, ca. June 1556.
Nathaniel Knox born May 1557 at Geneva. Died 28 May 1580 at Cambridge. Unmarried.
Eleazer Knox born Nov 1558 at Geneva. Died 23 May 1591. Unmarried.
Marjory Bowes died ca. Dec 1560 "died about the age of 27".
Married to Margaret Stewart (born 1545/6) Mar 1563/4 (yes, she was 17 when John Knox was 50).
Martha Knox born 1565. Married 1584, 4 children. Died 1 Dec 1592.
Margaret Knox born ca.1567. Married, 2 ch. Died ?.
Elizabeth Knox born ca.1570. Married 1594, 5 ch. Died Jan 1625.
Died 24 Nov 1572 at Edinburgh.
