Conflicting information about the spouse of Edward Hardy.

Information regarding son Robert shows parents as Edward Hardy and Mary Harty. Any search on Harty is unsuccesful. However, information regarding son William shows parents as Edward Hardy and Mary Dawson. Supposition is that Mary Dawson was first married to a Mr Harty.

Sharon (Hardy) Goldsmith shows Mary Dawson's place of birth as Sunderland, England in 1769.
