The Memorial Safety Administrator of Leicester gave me the information on the Family grave as follow: I found the grave at Gilroes. This was purchased by Herbert Frederick Tilley.

The details are as follows: Section CC grave no.134 Grid count: 28 up 7 north.

It was purchased as a part used grave with only one interment at the time.

I have looked this up and it was a person with the name of Thomas Calllow aged 75 who died in 1905.

According to our records, he was a Stoker by trade. It wasn't unusual for families to purchase part used graves years ago.

The grave is now full with a vase memorial on it. There is still room for cremated remain to be buried in the grave, with permission of the nearest surviving relative to the original grave owner.

The interments are as follows:
-Interment no: 47632-Edith Mary Tilly-buried 25.09.1933-aged 22 years-address 63 Watson Road, Gypsy Lane, Leicester.
-Interment no: 72283-Herbert Frederick Tilley-died 15.03.1947-aged 58 years-adress as above
-Interment no: 85220- Harry Herbert Charles Tilley-died 14.07.1953- aged 44-address: Markfield Sanatorium/90 Moira Street, Leicester
-Interment no: 88928-Mabel Caroline Tilley-died 18.01.1956-aged 68 years-address 63 Watson Road, Leicester.
