The 1892 to 1915 Sands directory has WC Muir as fruit grower Ermington and Rydalmere which aligns with Francis Henry Finch born Ermington 1849 who had a large citrus orchard at the corner of Victoria Road and Kirby Street which extended north to Subiaco Creek. His father was Francis Finch of Norwich who was transported in 1835.

Francis Henry Finch born 1849 Ross St Parramatta and Mary Ann Finch born 1852 Ross St Parramatta were brother and sister and children of Francis Finch born Norwich Norfolk 1813 who was transported 1835 for stealing.
Francis 1813 had only just married (to Sarah Holmes) when he was convicted (He died 1863 at Fennel St Parramatta).
In respect to this he took a common law wife (Mary Clarke) about 1841 and she remained so until she died in 1912 at Kirby St Rydalmere with her son Francis born 1849.
Francis left everything to Mary Clarke in his will. He was a 'whitesmith' in Norwich and after his ticket of freedom he took up as a blacksmith at Collett Park Victoria & Kissing Point Roads, Parramatta East and apparently did reasonably well.
